I wonder what it should mean to people who had their futures blocked off, cut out or stolen from them...

Hmm, that's true. Not everyone has the freedom to invest in their own futures, which is a sad thing to think about.

Those are the people who probably need the help the most to find what was lost, but it's not always possible, though I wish it was.
